Debut Single

A song about what doesn't wash off. What lingers. What runs deeper than the stories we tell ourselves.
About
Some Bands Are Formed. Others Are Found.
Padgett and Coyote didn’t meet in a Nashville bar. They didn’t spend years chasing gigs from one empty room to the next. There’s no tour van with their name on it, no hometown stage where it all began.
They arrived more like a story does — already carrying dust on their boots and something they’d rather not talk about.
Padgett and Coyote make country music from the restless space between midnight and regret. Their sound lives somewhere between outlaw country and raw Americana — stripped-down arrangements, bone-dry production, and songs filled with highways, bad decisions, old ghosts, and the things a man carries long after he thought he’d left them behind.
Signed to Hallel Music, Padgett and Coyote make their first appearance with “Still Blood,” arriving September 10.
It doesn’t come roaring through the door.
It doesn’t have to.
“Still Blood” is about the things that don’t wash off. The choices that leave a mark. The past that may disappear in the rearview mirror but somehow never gets any farther away.
That’s the world Padgett and Coyote inhabit.
Their songs feel less like something written and more like something overheard — drifting out of an AM radio somewhere past midnight, playing from a jukebox in a town you don’t remember stopping in, or coming through your headphones just when you were trying not to think about the one thing you can’t forget.
Maybe Padgett and Coyote are two men.
Maybe they’re characters.
Maybe they’re somewhere in between.
Doesn’t much matter.
The songs are real.
The songs on this record started where they always do — original writing, tape recordings, arrangements built from scratch. Vocals and select instrumentation were shaped with AI assistance, built outward from that core.
And Padgett and Coyote are already out there.
